Workshop | Andrea Joki

October 1, 2011

To show you how far behind on blogging I am, the following images and workshop were from May.  I seriously just now have the time to get these ready for posting here!

For my Non-Photographer followers who don’t know who Andrea Joki is…let me tell you a little bit about her.  She is an amazing photographer (who lives in Helsinki).  She is a teacher.  She is an artist.  And she is a really strait up kinda gal, who will tell you exactly what she thinks.  {To which I can totally relate.  Being an Italian New Yorker, I sometimes tend to tell it like I see it, to a fault.}  I had the amazing opportunity over the summer to get together with her and an amazing group of girls from all over Florida, to learn.  As a photographer, I am constantly learning and growing.  Learning from Andrea was a privilege and a pleasure!  We were up in St. Augustine, which if you haven’t been, is an absolutely beautiful area.

Well, as for what I learned, I walked away very happy with the time spent driving up and the time away from my family for this trip!  It was worth every second, and I am looking forward to doing it again!  Here are some of the images from that workshop.

Thank you for looking!!

Four years ago today, I gave birth to my second little angel.  It truly feels like just yesterday… I blinked my eyes and now my little baby is 4!  I is amazing to me just how quickly the time flies by!

Here are my little munchkins 4 year portraits!  It was a bit of a challenge, but I think he did a great job for me!

CJ…I love you my angel!  Your smile lights up my universe and your laughter makes my heart sing!  You are such a special little boy!  Happy Birthday my love!

And some of big brother JT…

Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

February 11, 2011

Well, here are my munchkins’ Valentine’s Day portraits! They were both so excited about their shoot this year. They just loved the idea of getting to throw rose petals on each other….it was seriously cracking them up. As you can tell! And I know I am one lucky girl to have these little angels as my Valentines! I hope that you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day, and try not to eat too much chocolate! LOL

I will leave you with a little Valentine’s Day Quote…

There is nothing so sweet – not flowers, not chocolate,
not a thoughtful card – as the love of a small child that
can be held in the heart on Valentine’s Day and
on every day thereafter.

-Crystal Dawn Perry

Okay. This was SOOOOO much fun! I have had this idea in my head forever, and while I would love to have done this with my boys, I am not sure how much they would have loved zebra stripes with hot pink tutu’s. LOL Months ago, while visiting my girlfriend, I saw these abandoned train tracks on the way to her house. As I was driving over them, these images popped into my head. I knew who, what, when and where the moment my tires made the bumpity bump over the tracks. I was super excited and couldn’t wait to tell my girlfriend what we would be doing with her girls. I knew that she would be equally as excited as I was about it. So, making this vision happen took a few months of planning and coordinating outfits for the girls, and basically getting all the styling in place! And these girls certainly delivered for me! They completely rocked their Valentine’s session just like I had envisioned it! Thanks Bri and girls for all the fun, and I know your Valentine’s cards are going to totally rock! xoxo to you all!!!

And seriously, could this little angel be any flipping cuter? Look at that sass!!! I ADORE her!!!
