So while it may seem that I have not been busy over here, due to the lack of blog posts in the past month…it has turned out to be one crazy summer! Being my childrens’ sole source of entertainment, there has not been too much time for work… (not complaining…it has been a blast and very special to me!), but I have had time to squeeze in a few casting call sessions, amidst all the craziness! So far, it has been an amazing summer, filled with fun trips to the bowling alley, the pool, the library, the pool, friends houses, did I mention the pool? We really have spent quite a bit of time in the pool! Oh, and don’t forget the potty training! I am looking forward to my boys starting school at the end of August, allowing me much more time for more amazing sessions. Here is just a taste of what my summer has been about!

Absolutely one of the sweetest little angels I have ever photographed. Meet Baby Bridget! I just melt when I look at her beautiful soulful eyes! Just stunning!

Next is the first of my Summer Newborn Casting Call Sessions. This little munchkin is Baby Addison. We had a blast trying out some new props! She did just perfect for us…and I could have easily photographed her all day!

Next, I was honored to photograph Sweet Baby Sophia. She is the baby girl of a friend of mine, and I was just over the moon excited about this session! Sophia is just the sweetest little girl, and she has an amazing family, that I am happy to call my friends! Even with a wasp (those who know me, know that I am deathly afraid of bees and wasps) flying around us, I managed to get some beautiful shots that quickly became some of my new favorites! Thanks Mom D for taking care of the wasp, and for the most amazing chicken salad sandwich I have ever eaten! And thank you, M, for allowing me to be such a special part of Sophia’s life! Thank you for trusting in me to capture such a special time, and for all your support!

I will be back soon with another newborn session! Waiting for Baby Boy Z to be born, and I am REALLY looking forward to that session!!!!

To say that this mamma to be was beautiful, is an understatement. Not only was she gorgeous, but she was also up for anything, and super fun to photograph! Thank you Beth, for being part of my casting call! It took us long enough, but we got it done, and I am thrilled with the end result!!

Sorry to keep you waiting…..here are some more from my most recent Maternity Casting Call Session!  I am just about wrapping up the Casting Call for maternity, and would like to thank everyone who showed interest and all who helped me build a maternity portfolio that I am truly proud of!!  It was an absolute pleasure working with all of you.  Big hugs to all my beautiful Moms to be!!!!

In spite of the crazy wind, lack of sunlight, and excessive number of bees…I had a really great time shooting this gorgeous maternity session at Wiggins Pass last night! I ended up with some incredible images, that I am happy to add to my maternity portfolio!!  Lauren…it really was an adventure last night, wasn’t it?  How is your little munchkin doing today?  (We had a little incident with a bee and Lauren’s 3 year old’s hand)  It was a pleasure meeting you and your family, and I am looking forward to the arrival of your baby girl!  This is not your official sneak peek, but I did have to share this image with you ASAP!  There will be more to come, and I will let you know when I have more posted!!!  Hugs to you all!!

Here is the little angel that decided to come a few weeks early! {See my latest maternity session}  Does she not have the cutest little facie??  What a little doll she was to photograph!  We got off to a bit of a rough start…baby girl didn’t want to sleep too much, but when she did finally fall asleep, she was just perfect!!!

Oh, and I had to include some shots of Isabella’s “watchdog”.  Alphie stayed by our side the whole time, “protecting” his little  sister!!!

Well, it is a good thing I did this session when I did!  (Instead of canceling it due to my massive sinus infection…which I discussed earlier!)  Baby Isabella Anne was born just 4 days after this shoot…a few weeks early…but healthy and beautiful!  (Stay tuned for Isabella’s newborn session) Amy…it was an absolute pleasure to meet you all, and thank you for being part of my casting call!!

First, I have to thank Rosana for being so patient with me.  Unfortunately, I had an awful sinus infection and my head was in a complete cloud the entire session.  It is really hard to think creatively when you have a head cold.  Luckily, Rosana was a perfect model for me, and we did end up having fun, in spite of my sickly head!

Well, let me first say that I absolutely {HEART} maternity photography!!!  This session was such a blast for me!  I had an amazing model, with a wonderful husband!  Both of whom were up for anything.  The beach, the sand, the sun, the perfect weather…I couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day for a photo shoot! (Minus the no-see-ums and mosquitoes as we were attempting to leave the beach!)
Dana and Chris – It was a pleasure working with you, and I am really looking forward to meeting your little munchkin!! I am sure you are as well!!!  Thank you both, for such a wonderful first maternity session!  I hope you enjoy your images as much as I enjoyed taking them!! Hugs to you!!!

Yahhhh!!!  Nicole Z. Photography will soon be offering maternity sessions!!!  I am so excited, but need to build my maternity portfolio!  I have some specific portraits that I would like to try, and I am looking for someone who is up for some fun!!! No professional modeling experience is necessary!!

The following requirements are:

• Must be at least 35 weeks pregnant (Sessions will be held in April and May Edited:  Preferably less than 36 weeks pregnant.
• Must be physically fit – At least a size 8 or smaller (pre-pregnancy)
• Must sign model release (images to be used online or in printed promotional materials for Nicole Z. Photography)  Some images will include faces.

These casting call sessions will not be handled as regular portrait sessions.  These sessions are to capture a specific look or pose for my portfolio.  If time permits, additional images may be photographed.

These casting call sessions will be free of charge, and a complimentary 8×10 print will be provided for your time.  (Sorry, no substitutions, please)  Other images may be purchased at my regular pricing.
